Located just two and a half hours drive north of Sydney, Port Stephens is one of Australia’s premier holiday destinations. Port Stephens is known as the “Blue Water Paradise”, Port Stephens boasts fabulous beaches and magnificent waterways that are home to more than 140 bottlenose dolphins.
Our warm and sunny weather allows visitors to enjoy activities such as swimming and surfing at four patrolled beaches, boating, dolphin and whale watch cruises. Other water activities include deep sea, beach and bay fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, jet skiing and parasailing. Our accommodation is a short 100m walk to Salamander Beach.
One of our most picturesque beaches, Birubi Beach, offers the opportunity for quad biking, camel rides and 4WD adventure tours. Port Stephens is host to a number of walking trails throughout the Tomaree National Park, allowing visitors to spend time in this stunning natural environment.
And if wining and dining is your favourite activity, we recommend that you try our superb local seafood and award winning wines, many of which come from the world-renowned vineyards of the nearby Hunter Valley.
